Dinagyan Festival (Believe, Unite and Share)

Every January Filipino's celebrating the feast of Sto Niño. We celebrate it together with festivals. Almost all parts of the country is celebrating it. For example Cebu have their Sinulog Festival, in Aklan they have the Ati-Atihan Festival and in Iloilo we have our Dinagyang Festival. Different Festivals but honor one saint the Sto. Niño.

We celebrate Dinagyang every third week of January. When I was staying in Iloilo I always make sure that I could watch and do the merry making after the competition. I can say that I miss this Festival.

Dinagyang is An Ilonggo term for revelry or merrymaking.
